Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Jefferson County Emergency Services District No. 4 (“JCESD No. 4”) will be held on April 20, 2020, beginning at 11:45 a.m., for the purposes set forth hereinbelow. Pursuant to the March 16, 2020 Order by the Governor of the State of Texas, JCESD No. 4 Commissioners, staff, and representatives, as well as members of the public, may attend and participate in the Regular Meeting by conference call. Additionally, a recording of the Regular Meeting will be made available following the meeting. The conference call-in information for the Regular Meeting is as follows:

Regular Meeting
1. Call to order.
2. Determination of quorum.
3. Public comment. In accordance with the Texas Attorney General’s opinion, any public comment that is made on an item that is not on the published final agenda will only be heard by the Board of Commissioners. No formal action, discussion, deliberation, nor comment will be made by the Board of Commissioners.
4. District Administrator and Chief’s Reports.
5. Review and approve minutes of the February 24, 2020 regular meeting.
6. Treasurer’s Report, and review and take action on any proposed budget amendments or necessary account transfers.

7. Review, discuss and take action to approve and authorize payment of the District’s bills and accounts.
8. Review, discuss and take action on proposed expenditure requests, purchases and/or repairs.
9. Review, discuss and take action to approve proposed phone service contract with AT&T.
10. Review, discuss and take action on Service Agreement(s) for new District Administrator,
and continued role of incumbent District Administrator.
11. Discuss and take action to declare salvage items and authorize disposal of same.
12. Discuss status of posting required tax-related information on the District’s website, and take any needed action in relation to same.
13. Counsel report.
14. Such other matters that may come before the board.
15. Adjourn.

emergency situations).

The Board may retire to Executive Session any time between the meetings opening and adjournment for the purpose of consultation with legal counsel pursuant to Chapter 551.071 of the Texas Government Code; discussion of personnel matters pursuant to Chapter 551.074 of the Texas Government Code; and/or, discussion of real estate acquisitions pursuant to Chapter 551.072 of the Texas Government Code. Action, if any, will be taken in open session.
